We have a little newborn visitor about once a month in our home & this crib is so much better than the portable playpens I used for my other grandchildren. Not only is it more ergonomical for her parents, it provides more comfort as little girl grows (esp w the 3" mattress I purchased to use w the included one). It looks like it will hold up to 35 lbs and even though I anticipate probably not using it that long, I expect to get plenty of use out of it!It is compact, even when not folded, so I just left it standing in parent's room for the little lady's next visit. The only reason I marked 4 stars is because I was surprised to find that the castors on the crib do not lock. On hardwood floors, this could become a problem when baby gets a little bigger. Overall though, I'm glad I made this purchase and would recommend. The wheels do not roll smoothly. The highest setting for the mattress is not high enough.Hello moms, I bought this crib in 2021 & it was only $99 then.. the crib itself is very nice and sturdy, easy to put together & It fits perfectly if you don’t have a lot of room. The mattress that comes with it is super thin but it’s perfect for a newborn baby. I did order a thicker mattress when my son turned 1. I would say this is a good deal but it isn’t anymore. I’m not sure why the price increased like that but I would keep looking! I was in a very tight budget last year & this crib was very cheap and still is actually really nice…. But if your going to spend that much on a crib find one with a matching changing table or dresser or something bc this price is ridiculous. I’m so sorry ? I hope this helps you. I really don’t mean to be a buzz kill but I’m so surprised how expensive it is nowI have twins so I couldn’t have two large cribs in a room. This crib is the perfect size, can collapse for easy transport, and is sturdy. I wish I would’ve gotten this crib for my two older kids!I have the smaller of my two bedrooms with a king bed in it and this crib is the perfect fit! It’s sturdy, cute, can be folded up easily for storage, and is just all around perfect for tiny living. Highly recommend. Won’t use any other even if I get more space.I bought this because my toddler is a bitty thing and is used to this sized space, making it feel safe and familiar for the transition, out of the co-sleeper in my room. I really really did not want a full sized crib in the shared room with my three year old - there just wouldn't be enough space. Even though the room isn't super small, about 11×9, it currently has a large antique dresser, queen sized bed (temporary), full-sized rocking recliner and this crib. While a touch tight until we get the three year old's bed, it's cozy and doesn't feel cramped. My toddler loves her bed! Some people reported very strong smells from the bed, as a pregnant lady and already very sentive to smell - it just smelled like paint and aired out quickly. I did buy my own organic cotton 3 inch mattress and have not unwrapped the one that came with the crib, so it's possible the smells people talk about is from that.It was super simple for me to assemble, even with the very attentive help of my two small children. My husband was surprised to see it put together when he got home, it's only 8 screws and 2 nuts. We have an old home with narrow doorways - he folded it right up and rolled it from the living room, down the hall to the bedroom. I move it several times a day to open and shut blinds and/or curtains, it's even easier to move than my pack n play and actually fits through my doors fully set up, which my pack n play does not. I honestly think I'll never have to buy another crib!Omgoodness I love this. Perfect transition from bassinet!!! I honestly wish we didn't even bother with a bassinet nor a big crib. This thing is absolutely perfect. Easy to assemble. It comes with a little mattress which in my opinion is great especially for the early months. I even ordered a thicker mattress and I haven't even used it yet. Even my husband loves this mini crib. That man doesn't ever have much to say about anything. He said he really likes it because he catches our 4 year son checking on his little brother. He says it's the perfect size and height. Just get it!!!Love this crib. It sits high so you don't have to break your back picking up the baby over a portacrib. My granddaughter is 1&1/2yrs old.No problem with size. I'm sure she will be able to use it until she's in a big bed. I had a portacrib when she was an infant with all the infant attachments. It was nice until she got bigger & we had to lower everything to the floor level. I would get it out & put it away because it didn't look nice. This crib stays up because it looks like furniture. Because it's so much higher I can get her in & out easier. When she outgrows it I will be able to fold it in half & slide it under the bed. Definitely buy a new matress. I would not have my granddaughter sleeping on the one it comes with you can feel the plywood right through it when you push on it lightly. Giving it a 4 because of the matress.the picture does it no justice. i went natural and, its beautiful. it's solid with a great luster and i can wheel my little monster around from room to room for some mobility fun with ease. i paired it with Dream On Me 3-Inch Extra Firm Portable Crib Mattress and i decided to use a Breathable Mesh Crib Liner – Blue.my son is huge and at 9months hes wearing 18 months clothing. hes very long, and there is plenty of room and im hoping to get some use for a while. lengthwise its as long as a playpen, but it's narrower and therefore can fit thru doorways.folding it up for a night with the grandparents is awesome.looks awesome. safe. solid. portable.happy dad here.We bought this mini crib when we had to keep our baby in our room longer than originally planned. The set-up was pretty simple and I'm happy that it has a higher and lower setting. Seems sturdy. Rolls around easily on the wheels. It gives a cleaner, neater look than the playpen. We got the natural color and I did feel like it was a bit more yellow / golden than I was picturing. After reading reviews, I was expecting the mattress to be much worse than it was. I'd say the mattress would be fine for up to at least 4 months old. We are using a different three inch mattress since we had ordered it anyway. Also had to order mini crib sheets, so keep in mind the extra expense if you will be ordering a mattress and sheets too.In regards to practicality, I am wondering how long the baby will be able to use this mini crib. I picture it working well for the first year. I doubt that she can be in there all the way til she's old enough for a toddler bed (in our experience, 2 years old). So if it wasn't for the need for a smaller crib to fit a smaller space, we wouldn't use a mini crib instead of a regular crib for that reason. Also a little annoyed that now it is $40 cheaper than when we bought it.We have an extra-small nursery in a super old house. Won't have room for a full size crib in there. This fit nicely and we still have space for the rocker and change table. Love that it easily collapses to small size. Will make it easy to keep fully assembled between our babies. My husband commented on the handiness of the wheels. I agree. They don't roll that well (metal ones with brakes would have been better), but it's still better than no wheels I think. Not the easiest assembly instructions (heavy on words, light on pictures), but I was able to figure it out after staring at it for a while. The instructions might make it look more complicated than it actually is to put together. Relatively few easy steps once you get going with it. I actually plan to use the included mattress for an (oversized) change pad, as I got a thicker mattress to use for this mini-crib. The one that is included is probably just fine to use as a mattress despite it's thin width, we just upgraded anyway. Overall, the wood quality looks nice and solid even though pine is soft. Very beautiful and handy mini-crib. Liked that it came with two depth settings (shallow for newborns, deeper for older babies). Really excellent purchase that I think I will enjoy using for multiple babies! We bought this crib for our third baby. Our bedroom is not really big and it fits really nicely in our room. My husband was able to assemble this crib alone in about 45 minutes. Looks nice and classic. I like how high it is. That's my 2 month old baby in it. As you can see, he's got some wiggle room. The blankets in between the bars are temporary. We are still waiting for the bumper we ordered. This crib is amazing easy to move from place to place. I use it in my travel trailer for camping and my little guy just goes straight to sleep in it. The only thing i would recommend is buying a thicker mattress the one that comes with it is pretty thin and cheap.
